My VFX journey began in Fine Art - studying to be a painter and sculptor before discovering computer graphics. My interest grew during my studies, producing digital art and writing on visual culture. I was awarded First Class Honours in Fine Art & History of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London; after which I attended and graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Art for post-graduate study.

In time, I began working commercially in VFX, enjoying the collaborative nature of the work and its analytical and technical challenges. In the early days I worked all over London as a freelance 3D operator and compositor, before settling at ManvsMachine and then at The Mill as a Senior and Lead Artist.

In 2013 I joined a then-young Electric Theatre Collective and helped develop the 3D department capabilities through research and development, while building ETC’s reputation by leading award-winning work as a VFX Supervisor.

I then joined FreeFolk in 2016 (formerly known as Realise Studio and Finish) as Joint Head of 3D, with a specific focus in developing the 3D Department and growing the TV and film side of the business, whilst also fulfilling a variety of roles including Lead, TD, Supervisor and Senior 3D artist.

In 2018 become part of Framestore London as a CG Supervisor driving projects from a conceptual/production perspective through to low-level artistic and technical detail.

Since 2021, I am now Head 3D at Jellyfish Pictures, building the team, driving the department forward into new technology and opportunities, and make some pretty cool work for TV and Film.

I continue to be passionate about creating for the community and sharing knowledge along the way on my learning journey. I’m honoured to be part SideFx’s Partner Scheme and make contributions to their Houdini SideFx Labs project.
